NorthShore to acquire one of the Chicago area’s few remaining independent hospitals
NorthShore University HealthSystem plans to acquire Northwest Community Healthcare — which runs one of the few remaining independent hospitals in the Chicago area.
Northwest Community Healthcare has a 509-bed hospital in Arlington Heights, 23 doctors’ offices and five immediate care centers, among other facilities in the northwest suburbs.
