Effective January 1, 2022, requires any PBM doing business in the state to obtain a license from the Insurance Commissioner.

PRACTICAL NOTE FOR EXISTING LAW
This is a fairly sufficient statute for licensure, which, in tandem with other existing PBM laws, provides a framework for regulatory oversight of PBMs as well as rights for pharmacy providers.
